A dashboard is a tool for a specific job: approve this order, catch this error, answer this question. We start every dashboard by asking staff what they do on Monday morning — then design for that.

“The hierarchy is brutal but honest. The primary action is big and first; everything else earns its space. Filters, tables and charts exist to support the main job, never to decorate the page.”

Motion is quiet and purposeful. A status change animates just enough to be noticed, loaders never pretend the server is instant, and empty states teach instead of confuse.

When staff open the dashboard by habit, not by requirement, the design worked.
